Bloomington High Flyers Circus

The Acts High Flying Trapeze The High Flyers have been performing trapeze (and high dive) for over twenty years. They also teach trapeze at workshops and camps throughout the country every year. Trampoline: As a high energy act, the High Flyers use trampoline as a combination of comedy and highly skilled acrobatics. Silk: This aerial display presents freedom of movement and intensity that is rarely portrayed in other aerial acts. Spanish Web: Spanish web is an aerial act that requires focus and strength to perform techniques while hanging from one hand or one foot high in the air. Hand-Balancing: This tightly choreographed act is performed on an 8'x 8' mat and displays a variety of skills requiring strength, timing and perfect balance. Single Trapeze: This act is unlike High Flying Trapeze in that there is only one swing. The performer displays acrobatic skills while balancing on a single bar. Cloud Swing: The motion of cloud swing is like that of a playground swing but high in the air on a rope. The acrobat performs dives off of the swing (while swinging) only to be caught by the hands or feet

Stilts: Varying in height and color, stilts are an exciting addition to any circus or event.

Adagio: Acrobats are launched (and caught), flipped and balanced by other acrobats to heights and lengths that are seemingly impossible. Hula-Hoops: The performers in this act show the incredible versatility and skills required to keep up to 20 hoops going simultaneously in a variety of ways.
